Types of Events We Host

Although the Character Inn is capable of functioning as a hotel, it is not available for individual drive-in customers. On the contrary, the Inn is specifically used to host various conferences and events.

As said by Jeff Karoub (writer for the Flint Journal), “The new owners proposed the first-of-its-kind operation would be a hotel and conference center, but since its grand opening in October, the emphasis has shifted to the latter.”

“We’d still like to maintain our hotel status, but there are so many other good hotels here better able to serve drive-in customers,“ said Stephen Ross, operations manager of the Flint facility. “They can provide a great service.”
