Textual Driving Directions

From the north (I-75 and I-475 southbound—Saginaw, Bay City)

1. Go South on I-75/US-23 toward Flint
2. Merge onto I-475 S/UAW FWY toward downtown Flint (10.0 miles)
3. Take the M-21/Court St exit (exit 7) toward downtown (0.2 miles)
4. Exit ramp becomes/merges with SB Chavez Dr.
5. Turn right onto E 3RD ST. (0.3 miles)
6. Turn right onto S Saginaw St. (0.3 miles)
7. Turn left into Riverfront Character Inn. (<0.1 miles)

To return to northbound I-475

1. Turn right out of parking ramp onto southbound Beach St.
2. Go to third traffic light and turn left (east) onto 2nd St.
3. Go .5 miles and turn left (north) on Chavez. (Watch for blue & red I-475 signs.)
4. Immediately bear left for entrance ramp to northbound I-475.

From the south* (I-75 and I-475 northbound—Detroit, Pontiac)

1. Go north on I-75 to northbound I-475.
2. Merge onto I-475 N/UAW FWY via exit 111 toward downtown Flint (6.3 miles)
3. Take the M-21/Court St. exit (EXIT 7) toward downtown (0.3 miles)
4. Stay straight to go onto MI-21 W/NB Chavez Dr. (<0.1 miles)
5. Turn left onto MI-21 W/E Court ST. (0.3 miles)
6. Turn right onto S Saginaw St. (0.4 miles)
7. Turn left into Riverfront Character Inn. (<0.1 miles)

* Note: If you are coming from the south on U.S. 23, take it to I-60 east (exit 117a) and follow the directions below which describe you as coming from the west.

To return to southbound I-475

1. Turn right out of parking ramp onto southbound Beach St.
2. Go to third traffic lignt and turn left (east) on 2nd St.
3. Proceed for .5 miles and turn right (south) and go for .3 miles on Chavez Blvd.
4. Chavez will become the entrance ramp for southbound I-475.

From the east (I-69 westbound—Sarina, Port Huron)

1. Go west on I-69 toward Flint.
2. Take the Saginaw St. exit (exit 136) toward downtown (0.3 miles)
3. Turn right onto S Saginaw St. (0.7 miles)
4. Turn left into Riverfront Character Inn. (<0.1 miles)

To return to eastbound I-69

1. Turn right out of parking ramp onto southbound Beach St. and go about .8 miles.
2. Turn left (east) onto 9th St.
3. 9th St. becomes the entrance ramp to I-69.

From the west (I-69 eastbound—Lansing, Grand Rapids, Chicago via I-69)

1. Take I-69E toward Flint/Port Huron.
2. Take exit 136 toward Saginaw St./downtown (0.1 miles)
3. Stay straight to go onto W 9TH ST. (0.2 miles)
4. Turn left onto S Saginaw St. (0.8 miles)
5. Turn left into Riverfront Character Inn. (<0.1 miles)

To return to westbound I-69

1. Turn right out of parking ramp onto southbound Beach St.
2. Continue on Beach St. for .7 miles.
3. Turn right (west) on 8th St.
4. 8th St. becomes the entrance ramp to I-69.
